When I was younger, we all had our own photo album. The procedure was always the same: take the pictures, wait to finish the film, and then take it to the store or send it away to have the pictures printed. When the pictures were printed, we either put them in a photo album, scrapbook, or shoebox. With the advent of digital cameras, you can now pick and choose which pictures, if any, you have printed. You can even print them off yourself at home. So the question is this…what do the majority of people do with those pictures on their digital camera? What do you do? Do you print them off and put them in a physical album? Do you download them onto your computer and store them there? Do you fill up the memory card, and when the old one is full, take it out and put in a new one? What happens to the old card? Do you delete them one at a time to make room for new pictures as the memory card fills up? Or do you simply save them/post them in a virtual photo album on a site such as Facebook?
